Privacy notice

What you enter

The tracker stores the profiles, card names and opening dates, annual fees, benefit usage, hypothetical plans, welcome-bonus amounts and currencies, recorded redemption values, valuation assumptions, tutorial choices, bonus spending progress, benefit-period observations, ignored reminders, and settings you enter. It does not require card numbers, Social Security numbers, or bank credentials. Please do not enter those details into free-text fields.

Guest mode

Guest tracker data is stored in this browser's local storage for this website address. It is not uploaded to the tracker database as a guest. Clearing browser storage, changing browsers, or using another domain can make that local data unavailable. Download a backup before making those changes.

Signed-in use

Firebase Authentication handles sign-in using your email/password or Google account. Firebase stores account identifiers and related sign-in information. Your tracker records are stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your account identifier so the app can load and save them across devices.

Service providers

Netlify hosts the website. Google Firebase supplies authentication, database storage, and application libraries. Requests to these services may include technical information such as IP addresses and browser details, subject to provider practices. Review Netlify's privacy information and Firebase's privacy information. The app does not integrate an advertising or analytics SDK in this build.

How information is used

Tracker information is used to provide calculations, display your records, save your preferences, and synchronize signed-in accounts. This build has no bank integration, payment processing, or feature that sells tracker records to advertisers. If you email support, your email and any information you include are used to respond.

Your controls and deletion

Settings lets you download a JSON backup and delete your account and live tracker record. Deletion requires confirmation and a fresh authentication step. Clearing guest data removes the guest tracker saved for this website address on this device. Deleting an account does not erase backup files you downloaded, guest copies on other devices, or provider logs/backups; provider retention practices apply to those systems. Contact support if deletion fails or you have a privacy request.

Retention and security

Signed-in records remain in the service until deleted. Guest records remain in local browser storage until cleared. Provider logs and backups may follow separate retention schedules. Use a strong password and keep downloaded backups private. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

This notice will be updated when the service's data practices change. Any future bank connection, analytics, or payments should be explained before those features are enabled.
