Help & installation
Settings and Customization
Open the three-line menu at the top right, then choose Customization to open the left panel for appearance, advanced mode, included issuers, optional tools, and notification preferences. Menu → Settings opens from the right for backup download/import, account controls, and tutorials. The title at top left and Menu → Home open the public introduction page, including when you are signed in.
Choose your experience
On first use, choose Simple or Advanced. Simple uses benefit checkboxes and read-only issuer limits. Customization → Appearance → Allow advanced options reveals optional section-level checkboxes. You must opt in separately to advanced benefit amounts, issuer edits, and bonus valuations. Modes do not delete your records.
Use Guide this tab below the tabs or Full tutorial in the menu anytime. Customization → Features → Tutorials hides the per-tab guide button; the full tutorial remains available in the menu. You can close a tutorial and keep using the app.
Start with a few cards
- Open the tracker. Choose guest mode or sign in.
- Add your cards and opening dates. Confirm whether each card counts toward 5/24.
- Review editable issuer rules in Settings. They are estimates and may not capture every issuer restriction.
- Open Planning to select a tracked status and explore dates up to three years ahead.
- Add a general issuer card or switch to a specific catalog card. Hypothetical cards never become actual cards automatically.
Install on your phone
iPhone: open the tracker in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Enable Open as Web App if shown.
Android: open the tracker in a supported browser such as Chrome. Tap Install app in the tracker, or use the browser menu's Install app / Add to Home screen option.
Desktop: supported browsers may show an install icon in their address bar. This installs the web app; it does not create an app-store account.
Keep your existing data
On the same website address, the update uses the same Firebase project and guest-storage key. Your existing account can open the new app page. Download a backup before updating. Guest data does not automatically follow you to a custom domain, even when it displays the same app. Sign in or export a backup on the old domain before moving.
Annual fees and reminders
Dashboard and Cards can show upcoming renewal fees through the next calendar month. Dates are estimated from the opening anniversary unless you enter a next-fee-date override while editing a card. Closed cards are excluded. Actual issuer posting dates and fees may differ.
In-app benefit reminders can flag unused amounts near period-end and repeated periods with no recorded use. Used/hidden benefits are excluded. Ignore dismisses the individual reminder; use Customization → Notifications to restore ignored reminders or turn reminder types off. Repeat-unused detection needs completed observed periods and does not treat missing past data as unused. These are in-app messages, not background push notifications.
Welcome bonuses
Record your actual offer amount and currency when adding a card or under Welcome bonuses. Goals begin pending and are excluded from earned totals. Mark a bonus received when it posts. Real shows earned currencies and recorded redemption value. The optional advanced Value view estimates unredeemed points at your own cents-per-point assumption, initially 1.5¢ per point. It is not cash received or a live average point price. When recording a redemption, enter both the units redeemed and their realized value so those units are not estimated a second time.
Simple spend tracking uses a requirement-met checkbox. Advanced bonus controls allow entering eligible spend against the requirement. Marking a requirement met does not mark the bonus received.
Unknown personal amounts and unconfirmed public references are excluded from totals. Certificates are counts rather than points. Verify imported public-reference values against your accepted offer.
Recommended cards (optional)
Enable Recommended cards in Customization → Features. The shortlist uses your recorded limits, card history, fee/spend filters, and a small set of dated issuer offer checks. Elevated labels use an issuer-stated prior offer. Stale or expired records are excluded. It does not evaluate all underwriting or bonus-family conditions and has no live feed.
Open beta
All included features are free during this beta, including up to ten profiles and combined views. Some may become paid after pricing and terms are announced. There is no automatic billing or paid checkout in this version. See the beta feature plan.
Back up or delete
In Settings, choose Download backup to save all profiles and plans. Treat the file as private. Load pasted backup replaces the currently loaded tracker. Account deletion asks for confirmation and reauthentication; guest data has a separate clear control.
Offline and sync
An internet connection is needed for sign-in and account syncing. If a save fails, keep the app open and download a backup. The public app shell can be cached, but offline sign-in and cross-device sync are not guaranteed.
